Kristin Ruiz is an accomplished compliance leader with nearly 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, recognized for building strong Compliance Management Systems and guiding organizations through complex regulatory environments. Her career spans progressive leadership roles including Compliance Administrator, Manager, Director, and Vice President, where she has overseen diverse functions such as Quality Control and Audit, Marketing Review, Licensing, Adverse Action, Disclosures, and Appraisal Desk operations.

Kristin began her academic journey in San Diego before transferring to Arizona State University. Early in her career in financial services, she discovered a passion for compliance—one that became the foundation of her professional path. She is known for her ability to translate complex state and federal regulatory requirements into practical, scalable frameworks that support growth while maintaining strong risk discipline.

Throughout her career, Kristin has successfully led regulatory examinations and served as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. She partners closely with operations, legal, production, and executive teams to embed compliance into business strategy, strengthening regulatory posture while fostering transparency, collaboration, and sustainable growth. Her leadership style balances operational rigor with a people-first approach, building cultures where accountability and partnership thrive.

Originally from South Dakota, Kristin has spent most of her life in Arizona. She has been married for nearly 20 years and is the proud mother of three daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family—making it a priority to take a trip together every summer—and enthusiastically supports Arizona sports teams, attending games whenever possible.
