Lahna Nolen brings over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry to Independence Home Loans. Having grown up in the business, Lahna has gained unique insights about teamwork, customer service, and best practices. Her father and mentor, Warren Thomas, was one of the founding members of the top privately-owned mortgage bank in Illinois.
Lahna’s commitment to excellence has seen her through nearly all operations responsibilities – processing, closing, post-closing – as well as various management and supervisory positions. She was a key component in establishing new roles, processes, and systems at her previous company and had the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s best leaders. She is delighted to join another performance-driven team at Independence Home Loans.
Outside of her professional life, Lahna enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and beloved pup, Sable in Huntsville, AL. She is an avid reader, having always had a large appetite for learning about new ideas. When not attending soccer games, cheerleading competitions, school musicals, or horseback riding shows, Lahna loves to be anywhere with live music or great food.
